The purpose of this page is to supply some links to themes which don't fit easily within the other sections.

Who cannot resist the lure of Perl? As an atheist, I should have been learning Python, but alas.

Here's some little programs I made.

The first one checks domains/IP's for the existence of webservers. I attempted to display each homepage in a frame, but there's tons of websites out there that despise the notion of being held captive in someone else's frame. This, therefore, became an excercise in detecting framebreakers.

The second little program checks the access logs of this webserver for attempts at hacking, and makes a list of the attacking IP's together with the sites where the scripts are stored. As soon as I had finished it, I realised I'd done it all wrong. I may have to revisit database storage, which I am somehow oddly allergic to.
